X-MEN EVOLUTION

X-MEN EVOLUTION premiered November 4, 2000. The series is an action/adventure animated series about the X-Men as teenagers. The show features Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Rogue, and a newly created character named Spike (who is Storm's nephew). These characters are all students at the Xavier Institute. Storm and Wolverine are involved with the Institute, working under Professor Xavier. Raven Darkholme (Mystique) is the institute's principal and there will be appearances by Quicksilver, Pyro, Avalanche and Blob. Thirteen episodes of X-Men Evolution are being produced by Film Roman.

    There are new mutants at Xavier's Institute, each more trouble then the next it seems. Also, Bayville High has a new principle, so Mystique is no longer in real control of the school. However, the Brotherhood are sick of hiding the fact that they are mutants so they reveal themselves (along with the x-men) at the girl's soccer game. This leaves the x-men and Xavier a big mess to clean up... maybe too big a mess.

    Nightcrawler/Kurt starts to like one of the newcomers at the institute. Her name is BoomBoom/Samantha and she is really free-spirited and disobey the professors orders. She ends up leaving the institute after an accident concerning her father and a break-in at the bank.

    After last season's shocking ending, where on Earth is Professor Xavier? Only Mystique knows, but will she tell? And now that the world know about mutants, and their mansion destroyed, where will the X-Men go? As all of this happens, the X-Men must hide from the authorities, and form an uneasy alliance with Mystique to rescue the rest of their team members. Plus, the new mutants hide in the sewers and Toad and Scarlet Witch go back to New York to investigate if Magneto is still alive.

    The search of Professor Xavier continues! As the hunt for mutants goes on, Storm and Beast must convince the government that they are not a threat. But Juggernaut's sudden appearance only makes things worse. Without Professor X, who will stop the Juggernaut?
  11. Day Of Recovery ( Released on September 14, 2002 ) h5>Professor Xavier tells his students that is time to go back to school and prove to everyone that they should not be feared. The only condition is that they should not use their powers for any reason. How will their friends treat them now that they know who they really are? Principal Kelly does not want mutant to be at his school and will try the unthinkable to accomplish this.

    Trying to expand Kurt' teleport range, Forge creates a device that slows down the process so they can analyze where he goes while he's moving. What they find is a hellish dimension filled with fearsome, shadowy beasts, something you definitely don't want following you back out. Meanwhile, everyone's trying to find a partner the school dance, though with mutant powers and uncertain relationships, that's not an entirely straightforward matter. Kitty tried to get Rogue to ask Scott to the dance.
  13. Fun and Games ( Released on October 20, 2001 )
    Spyke, Kitty, Nightcrawler, Rogue, and more of the X-Kids decide to have a little party inviting all of their friends! Knowing that the grown-ups won't allow it they send Scott and Jean in the woods and ditch them! Meanwhile the party is on and some of the kids mess with the X-Men's gadgets including Cerebo! Can Spyke, Kitty, Rogue, and the others stop the kids before they destroy the X-Mansion! Plus some other guest decides to join the party!
  14. The Beast of Bayville ( Released on October 27, 2001 )
    The kids can't help but notice that their teacher Hank McCoy has been acting weird; as in different animal instincts! Later on they find out that he is a mutant and unlike the others; is mutating as an adult! He has turned into a blue hairy beast( a.k.a. The Beast)! Can the kids save their teacher before he mutates into something else?!

    When the students repeatedly go joyriding in the X mobiles, the newest, Lance, AKA Avalanche, recruits Kitty to stop them.

  25. Under Lock & Key ( Released on November 30, 2002 )
    Mesmero mentally controls Gambit into stealing half of the Spider Stone from Angel and is then captured by Magneto. Magneto finds out about the three keys that can free Apocalypse and tracks an escaping Mesmero to London. Angel goes to the X-Men for help and they pick up the trail to London as well. The two teams fight but Magneto finds and joins the two halves, which create a energy-spider. The X-Men set out to capture it while Magneto's team try to destroy it, weakening it down long enough for Magneto to eradicate it. Xavier reveals that Mesmero intended Magneto to destroy it all along - the spider was a guardian. Now the teams must find Mesmero before he acquires the third key and finally frees Apocalypse...
